ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ

ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ (ਮੋਹਾਲੀ), 28 ਫਰਵਰੀ (ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲੀ) — ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸ. ਹਰਚੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਸਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ, ਫਲ ਤੇ ਸਬਜ਼ੀ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ, ਮਾਰਕਿਟ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਲਏ ਗਏ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮਾਰਕਿਟ ਫੀਸਾਂ, ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ, ਵਿੱਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ. ਹਰਚੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਸਟ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਸ. ਬਰਸਟ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਲਦ ਕਾਰਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਜਨਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਜੁਲ ਕੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਟੀਮ ਵਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਬੋਰਡ, ਮਾਰਕਿਟ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਿੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੇਦੀ (ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਐਮ.), ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੰਵਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾੜ (ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਐਮ.), ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ (ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਐਮ.), ਰਜਨੀਸ਼ ਗੋਇਲ (ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਐਮ.) ਸਮੇਤ ਸਮੂਹ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੰਡੀ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਰਹੇ।

Nagar (Mohali), February 28, 2019 (Pushpinder Singh Kurali)- The Chairman Punjab Mandi Board Mr. Harchand Singh Burst held a review meeting with the officers of the Mandi Board at the head office here today regarding the development of grain markets, fruit and vegetable markets, market committees and revenue enhancement of the Mandi Board. During the meeting, important decisions were taken on various issues related to the mandis of the state.
Apart from this, market fees, work being done to increase the revenue of the Mandi Board, financial arrangements and use of modern technologies were also discussed in detail.
In the meeting, the officials of the Mandi Board briefed about the ongoing development works in their respective areas. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Harchand Singh Burst emphasized that the increase in income would further strengthen the development work of the mandis and ensure the protection of the interests of the farmers. He directed the officials to formulate new plans and implement them expeditiously to increase revenue.
Mr. Burst said that the Punjab Government is committed to the welfare of the farmers and all possible efforts are being made so that the farmers do not face any kind of problem in the mandis.
He said that with the use of modern technologies and digital systems, the performance of the Board could be made more effective and work in this regard would be started soon. He directed that convenient services be provided to farmers through technological upgrades.
The Chairman exhorted all the officers to work in tandem and said that with teamwork, the board, market committees and mandis can be modernized.
