ਪਿੰਡ ਸੈਦਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਰਸੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਚਾਰਦੀਵਾਰੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਇੰਟਰਲੌਕ ਟਾਇਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਅੱਜ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ, ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ, ਸਕੂਲ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ, ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ 5 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਾਂਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਸੋਈ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰਦੀਵਾਰੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੰਟਰਲੌਕ ਟਾਇਲਾਂ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਵੀਂ ਰਸੋਈ ਦੇ ਬਣਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸੁਥਰੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ (ਮਿਡ ਡੇ ਮੀਲ) ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚਾਰਦੀਵਾਰੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੰਟਰਲੌਕ ਟਾਇਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਫਰਸ਼ ਲੱਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਦਾ ਵਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸੁਥਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਨਿਜਾਤ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ-ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਸਕੂਲ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਰਾਜਬੰਸ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗ੍ਰਾਂਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਲੋੜ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਕੂਲ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 28, 2019 (Pushpendra Singh kurali): The newly constructed kitchen at the Government High School in village Saidpur and the flooring of the interlock tiles inside the boundary walls of the school were inaugurated today by Engineer Prabhjot Kaur, Chairperson, District Planning Committee, SAS. A grant of Rs 5 lakh was released by the District Planning Committee, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for this project, which has strengthened the infrastructure in the school by constructing the kitchen and installing interlock tiles within the boundary wall.
During the inauguration ceremony, Engineer Prabhjot Kaur said that it is the commitment of the Punjab Government to provide better facilities in government schools. He said that with the construction of the new kitchen, the mid-day meal would be prepared to the students in a neat and hygienic environment, which would benefit both the health and education of the children.
He also said that the interlock tiles flooring inside the boundary walls has made the school courtyard clean and beautiful and will also get rid of the problem of mud during the rainy season. This will facilitate the movement of students and teachers.
School in-charge Rajbans Kaur thanked the District Planning Committee and Chairperson Prabhjot Kaur and said that this grant has fulfilled the long pending need of the school. He assured that proper and transparent use of government funds would be made by the school management.
