ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਕੋਮਲ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਲਾਕਸ਼ਾ ਯੂਨਿਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਨਵੈਸਟਰਜ਼ ਸਮਿੱਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਕੋਮਲ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪਲਾਕਸ਼ਾ ਯੂਨਿਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ 13 ਤੋਂ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ਤੱਕ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰੈਸਿਵ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਇਨਵੈਸਟਰਜ਼ ਸਮਿੱਟ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ।

ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਆਫ਼ ਇਨਵੈਸਟਮੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰਮੋਸ਼ਨ, ਗਮਾਡਾ, ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਡੈਲੀਗੇਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਰੂਟ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ, ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ, ਸਟਰੀਟ ਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਸਥਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਡੈਲੀਗੇਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਚਿਤ ਗੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਮਿੱਟ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਉਦਯੋਗਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ਕ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਡੈਲੀਗੇਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਰਵਿਘਨ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਢਾਂਚਾਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਜਿਸਟਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਐਮ.ਸੀ. ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਰੁਬਿੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾੜ, ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨਲ ਸੀ.ਈ.ਓ. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਆਫ਼ ਇਨਵੈਸਟਮੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰਮੋਸ਼ਨ, ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨਲ ਸੀ.ਏ. ਗਮਾਡਾ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੱਲ੍ਹੀ, ਏ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ. (ਜ) ਗੀਤਿਕਾ ਸਿੰਘ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਦਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ.ਪੀ. (ਐਚ) ਮੋਹਿਤ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal today visited Palaksha University and reviewed the ongoing preparations for the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit to be held from March 13 to 15.

During the meeting, he directed the concerned departments, including the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, GMADA, Municipal Corporation and Police Department, to prepare the routes well in advance for the smooth movement of the delegates.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed on the need for cleanliness in the city, repair of roads, smooth functioning of street lights and ensuring proper gate and parking arrangements for the delegates at the venue. He said that leading industry leaders and investors from India and abroad will be present during the three-day summit.

He said that a detailed plan has been chalked out by the district administration for smooth movement of delegates and streamlining the infrastructural and logistic arrangements at the University to make the event a success.

On this occasion, Parminderpal Singh, MC Commissioner Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Additional CEO; Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, Additional CA Amarinder Singh Malhi, ADC (c) Geetika Singh, SDM Damandeep Kaur and S.P. (H) Mohit Aggarwal and other officers were present.
