ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਆਗੂ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੰਡੀਵਿੰਡ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੈਲੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੰਡੀਵਿੰਡ ਸਮੇਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਆਗੂ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੁਮਣਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੋਆਇੰਟ ਫੋਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਏਕਤਾ ਮੰਚ ਦੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਸੱਦੇ ’ਤੇ ਖੰਡ ਮਿੱਲ ਸ਼ੇਰੋਂ (ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ) ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਪੁੱਡਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਧਰਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਧਰਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਏਕਤਾ ਮੰਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਸਾਥੀ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੰਡੀਵਿੰਡ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੂਚੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋਆਇੰਟ ਫੋਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਏਕਤਾ ਮੰਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੱਦੇ ’ਤੇ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਲੜੀ ਤਹਿਤ ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੈਲੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੰਡੀਵਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੜੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਜਮਹੂਰੀਅਤ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਹਰ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਨਿਸਟਰੀਅਲ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੰਡੀਵਿੰਡ ’ਤੇ ਦਰਜ ਪਰਚਾ ਰੱਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਰੈਲੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਐਮ.ਐਸ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਿਮਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਟੀ.ਐਸ.ਯੂ. ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗੁਲਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਗੁਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮੈਡਮ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਮਲਕੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

Morinda: The employees of the power department today staged a joint protest against the illegal detention of Samyukt Kisan Morcha leaders including employee leader Gurpreet Singh Gandiwind by the Punjab government. The employees took out a rally and demanded the immediate release of the arrested leaders, including Gurpreet Singh Gandiwind.

Disclosing this here today, state leader of the power employees Sukhwinder Singh Dumna said that the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and other agitating organisations were staging a peaceful dharna against the transfer of ownership of the land of the sugar mill Sheron (Tarn Taran) to PUDA on the joint call of the Joint Forum and the Bijli Employees Ekta Manch. Meanwhile, farmer leaders and other leaders including Gurpreet Singh Gandiwind, convener of Bijli Employees Ekta Manch Punjab, were illegally arrested by the police.

He said that protests were being held across Punjab on the call of Joint Forum and Bijli Employees Ekta Manch Punjab to protest against these arrests. In line with this, a rally was also held at Morinda by the electricity employees.

“We strongly condemn the arrest of farmer leaders and Gurpreet Singh Gandiwind and strongly demand the government to release the arrested leaders immediately. He said the action was anti-democratic and it was the right of every citizen to struggle, which the government was trying to eliminate.

Speaking on the occasion, Senior Vice President of the Ministerial Service Union Birender Singh said that as long as the farmer leaders and Gurpreet Singh Gandiwind are registered against them, they will not be allowed to do so.
