ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਸਰਪਰਸਤੀ ਹੇਠ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਂਗਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗਲਤ ਅੰਸਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਹੌਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦਾ ਫਰਜ਼ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਲਗਭਗ 100 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਂਗਟ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਆਪ ਕਰਨ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ “ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ” ਵਾਲੀ ਸੋਚ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡਣਗੀਆਂ।
