ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤੇਜ਼

ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ, 17 ਫਰਵਰੀ (ਨਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ) — ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੜਕਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਮੁਸਤੈਦ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਈ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਰਸਤਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਾਕੇ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਹਰ ਆਉਣ-ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਚੈਕ ਕੀਤੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਵਾਹਨ ਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੁਝ ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕਦਮ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸੁਖਨਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵੀ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ।

Tarn Taran, Feb 17 (UNI) The Tarn Taran Police has been on standby since early morning to ensure the safety of the people. Every vehicle coming and going was carefully checked by the police at various entry and exit points of the city.

During the checking, the police personnel not only checked the documents of the vehicles but also made them aware to follow safety rules by talking to the motorists in a polite and respectful manner. In some places, people also extended their support to this action of the police, calling it a necessary step for security.

Talking to the media on the occasion, Superintendent of Police Sukhninder Singh said that the operation was carried out to protect the lives and property of the people. He said that the police were committed to the safety of the people at all times and any kind of suspicious activity would not be tolerated in the city.

He appealed to the people to keep their vehicles with the necessary documents and cooperate with the police. This presence of police has strengthened the atmosphere of security in the city and has also increased the confidence of the people.
