ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ 28 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ ’ਤੇ ਆਏ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੋ ਸ਼ੂਟਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਖ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਉਰਫ਼ ਬਾਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਉਸਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਹਰਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਾਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੋ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ — ਬਲਤੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਬੰਟੀ ਵਾਸੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਤੇਹਣਾ (ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ) ਅਤੇ ਮੰਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਮੈਕਸ ਵਾਸੀ ਜਲਾਲਬਾਦ (ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ) — ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਨਵੀਆਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕੁੱਲ ਚਾਰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਕਾਬੂ ਆ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ੂਟਰ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਸੌਰਵ ਜਿੰਦਲ (ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਜਾਂਚ), ਤਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ (ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਆਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ), ਸੁਖਨਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ (ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਚ) ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ (ਉੱਪ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਜਾਂਚ) ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਏ. ਸਟਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਉਰਫ਼ ਬਾਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਗਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਪਿਛਲੇ 3–4 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾੜ, ਵਿੱਕੀ ਸੱਟੇਵਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਰਵੀ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟੀਆ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਾਰੇ ’ਤੇ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ 28 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਅਮਰਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਸੋਹਾਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾੜ ਅਤੇ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਦੋ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ ਭੁਗਤ ਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਤਾਂ ਦੋ ਸ਼ੂਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਵਾਹ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਉਰਫ਼ ਬਾਵਾ (ਉਮਰ ਕਰੀਬ 21 ਸਾਲ), ਵਾਸੀ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ, 10ਵੀਂ ਪਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਅਣਵਿਆਹਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਖੁਲਾਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਸਿਟੀ ਥਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਇੱਕ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਗੌੜਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੌਰਵ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਲਦ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
