ਹੋਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਲਰਟ, ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਵਰੁਣ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਬਨੂੜ- ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ

ਹੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੌਕਸ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ-ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇ।
ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਵਰੁਣ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਸਾਇਬਰ ਕ੍ਰਾਈਮ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਨੂੜ ਥਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਨਾਕਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਪੌਇੰਟਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ “ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ” ਅਤੇ “ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਵਾਰ” ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਪਰਾਧ, ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਾਮਾਜਿਕ ਤੱਤਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਨੱਕਲ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਹੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। 1500 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ-ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਤੈਨਾਤ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਨਾਕਾਬੰਦੀ, ਫੁੱਟ ਪੈਟਰੋਲਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਅਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹੋਲੀ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕਰਨ।

Patiala Police has been on high alert in view of the festival of Holi. The security arrangements implemented in the district are being reviewed by senior officials to maintain law and order during the festival.
SSP Varun Sharma said that as per the directions of the Hon’ble DGP Punjab, senior officers from the Police Headquarters visited the district and reviewed the security arrangements. Meanwhile, the Special DGP Cyber Crime also visited Patiala district and inspected Rajpura and Banur police stations. Security arrangements at key checkpoints and checkpoints were also reviewed.
The SSP said that the Punjab Police was continuously taking stringent action under the “War Against Drugs” and “War on Gangsters” campaign. Action will be intensified to curb crime, drug trafficking and anti-social elements.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made in the district on the occasion of Holi. More than 1500 police personnel will be deployed to maintain public safety and law and order during the festival. Mobile blockade, foot patrolling and special surveillance in vulnerable areas is being done to prevent any untoward incident.
The police have appealed to the people to celebrate the festival of Holi with peace and brotherhood and immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity.
