ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਨਾਕਾਬੰਦੀ, ਸਕੂਲ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੰਡਰਏਜ ਡਰਾਇਵਰਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ 33 ਚਲਾਨ

ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ASI ਗੁਰਬਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ASI ਗੁਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ASI ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਗਜ਼ਾਤ, ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮਾਪਦੰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅੰਡਰਏਜ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਾਹਨ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਮੋਟਰ ਵਹੀਕਲ ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਈ ਅੰਡਰਏਜ ਡਰਾਇਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਲਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ 3 ਸਕੂਲ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਵਰਲੋਡਿੰਗ, 10 ਅੰਡਰਏਜ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ, 15 ਗਲਤ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ, 1 ਓਵਰਲੋਡ ਟਿੱਪਰ ਅਤੇ 4 ਟ੍ਰਿਪਲ ਰਾਈਡਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਚਲਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੁੱਲ 33 ਚਲਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹਨ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।

Under the directions of SSP Patiala Varun Sharma, IPS, a special naka checking and inspection drive was conducted by the Traffic Police in Rajpura under the leadership of SP Traffic Harinder Singh Mann and DSP Traffic Puneet Singh Chahal.

During the drive, the police team including Traffic Incharge ASI Gurbachan Singh, ASI Gurnam Singh and ASI Gurmeet Singh visited various schools and inspected school vehicles. The documents of school vehicles, driving licenses of drivers and safety standards were thoroughly checked.

During the checking, several cases of underage students driving vehicles came to light, against whom action was taken under the Motor Vehicles Act. Challans were also issued to several underage drivers for driving without valid licenses.

The Traffic Police issued challans to 3 school buses for overloading, 10 underage drivers, 15 cases of wrong parking, 1 overloaded tipper and 4 cases of triple riding. A total of 33 challans were issued against traffic rule violators.
