ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹਲਕਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਨਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਟੋਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਿਜ਼ਨਰ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਬੋਰਡ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹਲਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਡਾ. ਚਰਨਜੀਤ, ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੇਹਰਬਾਨ, ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ, ਜਗਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਗੀਆਂ, ਕੇਵਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਆਦਿ ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਇਸ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹਲਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਵ-ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਨਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਟੋਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾਓ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਟੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਤਹਿ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਜਤਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਰਿਣੀ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਇਸ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਲਗਨ, ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਉਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਿਜ਼ਨਰ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ, ਸੁਧਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਨਰਵਾਸ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

The Punjab Government, with the aim of further improving and strengthening administrative services, has appointed senior leader of the Sri Chamkaur Sahib Assembly constituency Navdeep Singh Tony as a member of the Prisoner Development Board, Punjab.
Expressing happiness over the appointment, constituency MLA Dr. Charanjit, along with AAP leaders Nirmal Singh Meharban, Rajinder Singh Raja, Jagmohan Singh Rangian, Kewal Joshi, and others, said that this appointment by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has increased the recognition and respect of dedicated workers of the Aam Aadmi Party. They said the appointment would further strengthen the party. They thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the senior leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party.
On this occasion, the constituency MLA honoured newly appointed Navdeep Singh Tony by presenting him with a Siropa.
Speaking on the occasion, Navdeep Singh Tony expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the entire leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Punjab Government. He said that he would always remain grateful to the party high command and the Punjab Government for placing their trust in him and entrusting him with this responsibility.
He said that he would discharge the responsibility given to him by the party high command with complete dedication, honesty and commitment. He assured that he would work towards the welfare, reform and rehabilitation of prisoners in accordance with the objectives of the Prisoner Development Board.
