ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਰੋਡ ’ਤੇ ਫੋਕਲ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੜਕ ’ਤੇ ਕੰਕਰੀਟ ਮਿਕਸਰ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਲਬਾ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹਾਦਸਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਵਾਰਡ ਨੰਬਰ 1 ਦੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਰਾਣਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੇਸੀਬੀ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਸੜਕ ’ਤੇ ਜੰਮੇ ਕੰਕਰੀਟ ਸੀਮਿੰਟ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਦੀਪੂ ਰਾਣਾ, ਸਾਹਿਲ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਗੌਰਵ ਰਾਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਲ ਰਾਣਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

Debris falling from concrete mixer vehicles on the Chandigarh Road near the Focal Point had been causing daily accidents in the area. Taking note of the issue, youth under the leadership of social worker Vikas Rana Jogi from Ward No. 1 removed the hardened concrete cement from the road with the help of a JCB machine.
According to information, for the past several months, concrete from mixer vehicles coming from the Focal Point had been continuously spilling onto the road. This had badly damaged the condition of the main road and led to a rise in accidents. The lack of proper lighting further increased the risk.
Vikas Rana Jogi and other youths stated that the concerned department and concrete mixer companies had not taken any action to address the issue, due to which commuters and residents were facing serious difficulties. They added that since it is a main road with thousands of vehicles passing daily, its maintenance and cleanliness are extremely important.
They further said that when the matter was brought to their notice, they took immediate action and used a JCB machine to remove the hardened cement from the road, leveling it properly. Passersby and residents appreciated the efforts made by the youth.
On this occasion, Deepu Rana, Sahil Gupta, Deep Kumar, Gaurav Rana, and Sahil Rana were also present.
