ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ 83 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਤਖਮੀਨੇ ਪਾਸ — ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ
ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ, 13 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ (ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲੀ): ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਕੁਰਾਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀਤੀ ਪਡਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਅੱਜ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਹਾਊਸ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੌਂਸਲਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀਤੀ ਪਡਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਕੁਰਾਲੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 83 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਤਖਮੀਨੇ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਾਰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਕੈਮਰੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜੇਸੀਬੀ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ, ਚਾਰ ਟਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਦੀ ਸਫਾਈ ਲਈ ਜੈਟਿੰਗ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਫਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜੀਤੀ ਪਡਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੌਂਸਲਰਾਂ, ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੁਰਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਮਿਲਜੁਲ ਕੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹਿਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਕੁਰਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੌਂਸਲਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

S.A.S. Nagar, April 13 (Pushpinder Singh Kurali): The final meeting of the House was held today at the Municipal Council Kurali under the leadership of President Ranjit Singh Jeeti Padyala on the completion of the five-year tenure of the council.
All councillors of the Municipal Council participated in the meeting and various issues related to the development of the city were discussed in detail.
During the meeting, President Ranjit Singh Jeeti Padyala, in his address, said that continuous efforts have been made by the Municipal Council Kurali for the overall development of the city over the past five years. He informed that estimates worth approximately ₹83 crore were approved during his tenure, through which numerous development works were carried out in all wards of the city.
He further stated that CCTV cameras were installed at various locations to strengthen the security of the city. In addition, to streamline the functioning of the Municipal Council, a JCB machine, four tractors, and a jetting machine for cleaning the sewerage system were also procured to ensure faster sanitation and development works.
President Jeeti Padyala said that all these development works were made possible with the cooperation of all councillors, officials, and residents of the city. He added that the Municipal Council worked collectively for the development of Kurali and will continue to prioritize the interests of the city in the future as well.
On this occasion, all councillors of the Municipal Council Kurali were also honoured and thanked for their support during the past five years.
