28 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਰੈਲੀ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਸਬ ਹੈਡਲਾਈਨ

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ 28 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਰੈਲੀ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਰੈਲੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਨਰੇਗਾ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਤਬਾਹਕੁੰਨ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੀੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਉਤਪਾਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਫੀਸਦੀ’ ਟੈਰਿਫ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਆਯਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਮਦਨ ਘਟੇਗੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਵਧੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ‘ਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਸਰ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਮਨਰੇਗਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਵਰਗ ਲਈ ਜੀਵਨ ਰੇਖਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਉਠਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਕਟ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ, ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ, ਬਿਕਰਮ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸਾਧਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਇਹ ਰੈਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਬਣੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ, ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਜਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।

The Punjab Congress is organizing a massive rally in Barnala on February 28, which will be attended by Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi along with several senior Congress leaders. This information was shared by Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring while addressing journalists in Chandigarh.

Raja Warring stated that the rally is being held to protest the Central Government’s alleged attempts to end MGNREGA and the proposed trade agreement with the United States. He said the trade deal could prove disastrous for Punjab, as agriculture is the backbone of the state’s economy.

He warned that if agricultural products are allowed to be imported at “zero percent” tariff, Punjab’s farmers would suffer heavy losses. This would not only reduce farmers’ income but also increase unemployment and severely impact the agricultural system.

Speaking about MGNREGA, Warring said the scheme is like a lifeline for the poor and working class. If it is scrapped, the livelihoods of millions of families would be affected.

He also stated that such a situation could be exploited by anti-national forces that are already trying to create instability in Punjab. He added that the youth of Punjab are already struggling with the drug problem, and the state cannot afford further crises.

During the interaction, Warring declined to comment on allegations made by Navjot Kaur Sidhu, saying he did not wish to respond on the matter.

He further said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Bikram Singh Majithia, and BJP’s state president Sunil Jakhar have been continuously targeting the Congress because they view it as a strong political force.

Raja Warring concluded that the Barnala rally will become the voice of the people of Punjab and deliver a strong message in support of the rights of farmers, workers, and the common public.
