ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ: ਰੋਟਰੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੋਟਰੀ ਦੇ 121ਵੇਂ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਰਾਏ (ਪਤਨੀ ਹਰਨੇਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਹੇੜੀ) ਦੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਖੂਨ ਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਬਾਬਾ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਫਤਿਹ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਡਾ. ਨਿਰਮਲ ਧੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰੋਟਰੀ ਬਲੱਡ ਬੈਂਕ ਸੈਕਟਰ 37 ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੂਨ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਖੂਨ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੁੱਲ 45 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਖੂਨ ਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਡਾ. ਧੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਇਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਲਈ ਨਵੀਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਖੂਨ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਬਦਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦਾਨੀ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਖੂਨ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਯਸੂ ਸੂਦ ਨੇ ਖੂਨ ਦਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਾਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਆਰ.ਆਈ. ਹਰਨੇਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਏ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੋਟਰੀ ਭਵਨ ਲਈ 21 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।

Morinda: Rotary Club Morinda organized a blood donation camp dedicated to the 121st Foundation Day of Rotary and the memory of Mrs. Paramjit Kaur Rai (wife of Harnek Singh Saheri) at Baba Zorawar Singh Fateh Singh Khalsa Girls College, Morinda.
In this regard, senior leader of the club Dr. Dr. Nirmal Dhiman said that during the camp, blood was collected by the team of Rotary Blood Bank, Sector 37, Chandigarh. All donors underwent a medical examination before taking blood. A total of 45 persons donated blood during the camp.
Dr. Dhiman said that every drop of blood proves to be a new life for some patient. He pointed out that there is no substitute for blood and it can be achieved only with the cooperation of donors. Donating blood does not cause any weakness in the body.
On this occasion, the president of the club Yesu Sood thanked the blood donors. The donors and specially arrived guests were also felicitated with mementos during the camp.
