ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਾਸੀ - ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ

ਅੱਜ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ 2027 ਸਬੰਧੀ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿਚ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੈਟਿਸਟਿਕਲ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਟਰ ਗਰੇਡ -2 ਓਮਵੀਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਇਹ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਮੋਡ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ‘ਸੈਲਫ ਇਨੁਮੀਰੇਸ਼ਨ’ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਮਿਤੀ 30 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2026 ਤੋਂ 14 ਮਈ 2026 ਤੱਕ ਆਪ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਫੇਜ਼ 15 ਮਈ 2026 ਤੋਂ 13 ਜੂਨ 2026 ਤੱਕ ਹਾਊਸ ਲਿਸਟਿੰਗ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਇਨੁਮੀਰੇਟਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਹਾਊਸ ਲਿਸਟਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ 33 ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ।
ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿਚ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਡਾ. ਕਰਨਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਐਸ. ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਪੱਟੀ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਖਡੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਉਪ ਅਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਕੜਾ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਡਾ. ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸਮੂਹ ਤਹਿਸੀਲਦਾਰਾਂ, ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਸਾਧਕ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ, ਸਬੰਧਤ ਚਾਰਜ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਲਰਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਅਸੀਸਟੈਂਟਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

A two-day training workshop on Census 2027 began today at District Tarn Taran under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Shri Rahul. In this workshop, training was imparted by Assistant Director Swadesh Pratap Singh and Statistical Investigator Grade-II Omveer by the Census Department.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that for the first time, the census would be conducted in completely digital mode. He said that for the first time in this census, the work of ‘self-insured’ has been started, in which any citizen can count his house from April 30, 2026 to May 14, 2026.
After this, the first phase of the census will be launched from May 15, 2026 to June 13, 2026 as house listing, in which enumerators will go door to door and ask 33 types of questions to the citizens. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to all the citizens of the district to cooperate fully in the census being conducted by the government.
The workshop was attended by SDM Tarn Taran. Karanvir Singh, S. DM Patti Simranjit Singh Dr. Khadoor Sahib Sanjeev Sharma, Deputy Finance and Statistical Advisor. The meeting was attended by Dr. Amandeep Singh, Tahsildars, Executive Officers of Municipal Councils, Clerks and Technical Assistants of the concerned Charge Officers.
