Tarn Taran, May 5 (Navdeep Shanti) — Keeping in view the upcoming Municipal Council elections in Patti, the Amrinder Singh Raja Warring-led Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed party spokesperson Narinderpal Singh Sandhu as the observer for the Patti constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Narinderpal Singh Sandhu said that the people of the Patti constituency will extend full support to the Congress party in the Municipal Council elections, and these elections will prove to be the semifinal for the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections. He claimed that the Congress party will register victory with a huge lead.
Sandhu said that Congress workers in the constituency are being mobilized to ensure victory in the elections, and the party will enter the electoral field with full enthusiasm. Targeting the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party, he said that people are unhappy with the present government.
He said that the promise made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to provide women with Rs 1,000 every month has still not been fulfilled, due to which disappointment prevails among the people.
Sandhu said that if the Congress forms the government, major steps will be taken to provide employment to youth, ensure a drug-free Punjab, and empower women. Thanking the Punjab high command, he said that he would discharge the responsibility entrusted to him with complete dedication and honesty.
